MakersValley Selected for MassChallenge Texas in Austin 2019 Accelerator

TEXAS, May 15, 2019 – Yesterday, MakersValley was selected to participate in the MassChallenge Texas in Austin 2019 accelerator program. MakersValley was one of more than 650 other startups to apply for the accelerator located in Austin, Texas.

MakersValley will participate in the MassChallenge Texas in Austin 2019 accelerator program, where it will receive access to MassChallenge's global network, world-class mentoring from industry experts, tailored programming, free co-working space, and unrivaled access to corporate partners. The accelerator culminates on October 2019 at the MassChallenge Texas in Austin Awards Ceremony, where selected startups will pitch for the opportunity to win a portion up to $500K in no-equity cash awards.
MakersValley is a three-year old startup that seeks to #DemocratizeManufacturing by making the high quality clothing apparel industry more transparent, accessible, and affordable for fashion designers, no matter where in the world they live. With more than 180 Italian manufacturers in-network and fashion designers from more than 100 countries and territories, MakersValley is creating a global footprint that will positively impact the entire fashion industry, from production to retail.
MakersValley plans to benefit from the outstanding mentorship and community resources of the MassChallenge accelerator. It will leverage these resources and any funding awarded to pilot new programs to assist fashion designer product development, help Makers reach new retail markets, and enable them to create robust and accessible brand identities.
